Annual program aims to raise awareness and importance on furthering education from high school through college.
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, the brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. will be hosting our annual "Go to High School, Go to College" program at the University of Cincinnati where we will be inviting young men, & women out for a series of workshops & breakout sessions geared towards the importance of furthering their education, the transition from high school to college, the college application and admissions process, the FAFSA process, scholarship opportunities, ACT/SAT information, and open forums for attendees to ask questions to current college students and recent college grads.
Many of the students in the African American community don’t have the most adequate resources and knowledge when it comes to furthering their education. This FREE program is aimed towards bridging that gap.
We are targeting males & females ages 12-18 and we will be providing breakfast and lunch. If you know anyone who can be impacted by this program, please visit the website mentioned below.
Walton Management awards two current high school seniors with a $1,000 scholarship at the conclusion of the event. The Scholarship application is on the website.
