Project Alpha is a national program developed by Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc and sponsored locally by the Delta Gamma Lambda Chapter. It was designed to provide education, motivation and skill-building on issues of responsibility, relationships, teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases for young males.
Project Alpha 2021 consists of a series of workshops and informational sessions conducted by the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
We invite males between the ages of 12 – 18 to engage in an open discussion about responsible behavior in personal relationships. This program calls attention to:
- Respect and responsibility in relationships
- Adolescent pregnancy and parenthood
- Protecting yourself and your partner
- Sexually transmitted diseases
- Intimate violence in relationships
- The law pertaining to you, as a teenager
Discussions will be facilitated by professionals who want to see young men make wise decisions, as well as reduce unplanned pregnancies.
Project Alpha 2021 will take place on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Cincinnati Museum Center located at 1301 Western Avenue, 45203. Registration and parental or guardian consent are required. Following COVID protocols, all participants will be required to wear mask.
